Malaya Corporate Group at the Rotary Clubs Luncheon with YB Hannah Yeoh
On 12 September 2026, Malaya Corporate Group was pleased to be part of a meaningful afternoon of dialogue, networking and community engagement at the Joint Rotary Clubs Meeting held at the Royal Signature Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.
Hosted by the Rotary Club of Pudu, together with the Rotary Club of Bukit Bintang and Rotary Club of Cheras, the luncheon brought together approximately 200 Rotarians, business leaders, professionals and guests.
The event featured YB Hannah Yeoh, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories), as Guest Speaker.
A Conversation About the Future of Kuala Lumpur
The luncheon provided an opportunity to hear directly from YB Hannah Yeoh on the issues, priorities and reforms surrounding Kuala Lumpur and the Federal Territories.
Her portfolio covers the Federal Territories, while current government initiatives include areas such as public infrastructure, community facilities, socioeconomic development, public safety, social inclusion and the overall wellbeing of communities in Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya and Labuan.
The discussion also highlighted something particularly relevant to the business and professional community: building a better city requires participation beyond government alone.
Businesses, professionals, community organisations and civil society all have expertise, networks and resources that can contribute towards meaningful initiatives.
