Menyediakan cukai yang sewajarnya kepada kerajaan menjadi tanggungjawab paling penting individu terhadap kerajaan. Syarikat-syarikat Malaysia mengekalkan perkhidmatan perakaunan profesional untuk mengelakkan penalti berkaitan cukai. Individu boleh menghadapi pelbagai isu undang-undang untuk terlepas tarikh akhir pembayaran cukai. Menurut Tan et al. (2021), hasil cukai menjadi sumber pendapatan utama kerajaan dan kerjasama sewajarnya pelbagai perkhidmatan awam membantu dalam proses ini.<\/p>

Sebaliknya, Hassan et al. (2022) menyatakan bahawa kerajaan mewujudkan dasar hasil berdasarkan pendapatan individu serta kehendak orang ramai. Kajian pakej statistik sains sosial membantu menunjukkan dasar sebenar kerajaan mengenai dasar percukaian. Elakkan pengisian cukai yang menimbulkan risiko besar bagi individu dan individu perlu membayar antara RM200 hingga RM20, 000 untuk kesalahan tesis. Kerajaan mewujudkan pelbagai akta serta bergegas untuk menunjukkan tahap hukuman mengikut keterukan kesalahan. Isu tersebut boleh dielakkan oleh rakyat biasa untuk menunjukkan kebolehpercayaan yang sewajarnya terhadap firma audit negara. Menurut Bakar et al. (2021), kira-kira 200% caj cukai oleh kerajaan untuk aktiviti menyalahi undang-undang yang dicipta oleh mana-mana organisasi perniagaan.<\/p>

Sebaliknya, Sing & Bidin, (2020), menyatakan bahawa pendapatan sewa, pendapatan penggajian, royalti, serta dividen merupakan bahagian utama cukai pendapatan. Kebanyakan organisasi perniagaan mengupah akauntan profesional untuk mengelakkan faktor berkaitan penalti. Pakar boleh membesar-besarkan pelepasan cukai untuk mengurangkan lembu cukai sebenar. Seksyen 107B menyatakan bahawa kira-kira 10% penalti perlu membayar individu untuk pengeluaran anggaran cukai pendapatan. Pakar cukai pendapatan mengumpul pengetahuan yang baik berkaitan dengan proses pelaburan serta kadar keuntungan perniagaan.
