<\/p>\n

MOF License<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n

The MOF License is a license created to provide opportunities for\ncompanies, suppliers and entrepreneurs to obtain projects or tenders from the\ngovernment. Entities that is eligible to apply the license are Enterprise, LLP\nand Private companies (Sdn Bhd) that is registered under Companies Commission of\nMalaysia. An application from individuals will be rejected. Tenders that can\napply are 30 field according to the company\u2019s field code. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Requirement to apply the license<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

1)     \n<\/span><\/span>Entities such as Enterprise,\nLLP and Private companies<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

2)     \n<\/span><\/span>The companies must have a paid up\ncapital of RM 2500 and above (LLP and Enterprise can refer to their bank\nstatement)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

3)     \n<\/span><\/span>The company need to have a\npremise, office or a house and at least equipped with one employee<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

4)     \n<\/span><\/span>The company should have\nnecessary license and or letters of approval by accordance to the field that\nthey applied for<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

5)     \n<\/span><\/span>The company shall have the\nfield code that is parallel with the code issued by MOF<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Procedure to have a license<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n

1)     \n<\/span><\/span>Create an account from the MOF\nwebsite to submit the applications online<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

2)     \n<\/span><\/span>Submit the supporting documents\nto MOF via counter submission or online (recommendation to submit the document\nat the counter)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

3)     \n<\/span><\/span>MOF will announce the results <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

For new registrations, the process of obtaining license\napproval is 7 working days.<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Supporting Document <\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n

For new registration of MOF license, the company must provide the\nfollowing supporting documents:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

1.      \n<\/span><\/span>Declaration Form <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

2.      \n<\/span><\/span>Memorandum and Article of\nAssociation \/Section 14\/ Form 55 (for Limited Companies)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Form 24\/ Section 78 dan Form 24 \/ Section 58 for companies less than\none year or latest Form of Annual Return (for companies that have been\nincorporated over 18 months), Form 32A \/ Section 11 (if applicable)<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

1.      \n<\/span><\/span>Copy of owner\u2019s \/ directors\u2019\nIdentity Card<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

2.      \n<\/span><\/span>Current Account Statement<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Validity of the license<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n

The Company Registration Certificate issued is valid for 3 years\nfrom the date of registration. Applicants must apply for license renewal\nstarting from 3 months before the expiry of the license up to one year after\nthe expiry of the license to avoid automatic revocation of the MOF license <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

Bumiputera Status<\/o:p><\/span><\/u><\/b><\/p>\n\n

There are tenders that open specifically for Bumiputera. Therefore,\na Bumiputera license is required for the tender application. The validity of\nBumiputera status is accordance to the validity of the MOF license. <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

The requirement to apply for Bumiputera status are:<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

–         \n<\/span><\/span>Companies incorporated with the\nCompanies Commission of Malaysia (CCM) under the Companies Act 2016<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

–         \n<\/span><\/span>Application must be submitted\nafter the company is registered <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

–         \n<\/span><\/span>Eligible to apply by companies\nwith 2\/3 Bumiputera directors or all directors are Bumiputera<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

–         \n<\/span><\/span>Companies with 2\/3 of\nBumiputera employees <\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

–         \n<\/span><\/span>The financial management of the\ncompany is handled by Bumiputera<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n

–         \n<\/span><\/span>The highest percentage of\nindividual equity holdings is dominated by Bumiputera<\/o:p><\/span><\/p>\n\n
